Walk-In Clinic

Mid-Valley Clinic is now offering walk-in all the time we are open. So, you can walk-in to see a provider for an acute care issue Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon.

Acute care walk-in visit types include the following:

Abdominal Pain (discuss with triage nurse first) Allergic reaction Allergies
Asthma exacerbation Animal and insect bites Back pain (acute, not chronic)
Broken bone; fracture Bronchitis Burns
Chest pain Cold or flu symptoms Conjunctivitis
Constipation Contagious illness (mumps, chicken pox) Cough
Dizziness Ear and eye infections Eye redness or irritation
Fall, suspect broken bone or sprain Fever Fractures
Headache; migraine Joint pain Lacerations
Minor injuries Minor lacerations (cuts and scratches) Mouth pain
Muscle cramps or spasms Shortness of breath (acute only) Sinus infections
Skin infections, bumps Skin rashes, minor swelling, or other skin irritations Sore throat
Sprains and strains Strep throat Thrush
Toothache Upper respiratory tract infections Urinary tract infections
Wounds needing stitches

Walk-in providers rotate and have scheduled blocks they cover walk-in throughout the week. It is on a first come, first serve basis. There are also some appointment times in several of the provider’s schedules that are blocked for same-day appointments. So, for an acute care problem, you can either call for a same-day appointment with your regular provider, or, if a time is not available, walk in. Your primary care provider may still see you if they can squeeze in an acute care visit into their current schedule when you come. Otherwise, you may see that day’s walk-in provider.
