American College of Radiology (ACR) Accreditation for quality on the mammogram and CT scan equipment and the radiology department practices ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) for radiation exposure. Mid-Valley Hospital's Radiology department has an onsite board-certified Radiologist. In addition, we offer specialty imaging services including a myocardial perfusion scan. This screening helps determine if a person is suffering from coronary artery disease, or blockages in tiny arteries that feed the heart. Mid-Valley Hospital is also the only hospital in the area to offer nuclear medicine. Our skilled technologists provide the highest quality studies possible.

Vantage Titan ZEN Edition MRI Machine
The only local MRI offering patients the optimized comfort of open bore (larger opening) systems as well as higher quality imaging, better diagnostic ability and a lot less claustrophobic feel than ever before! The Vantage Titan/ Zen Edition 1.5T enhances comfort with a unique range of exclusive, patient-friendly features that create a safe and pleasant scanning environment. This results in faster exams and raises throughput and productivity, ensuring patient satisfaction. The system allows cardiac exams to be completed with fewer breath holds for greater patient comfort, and captures images in tissues that generally disappear too quickly for accurate MR imaging. This enables our care providers to provide faster and more accurate diagnosing to better treat our patients.
State-of-the-Art Revolution EVO CT Machine
A computerized tomography (CT) exam offers several advantages in the diagnosis and treatment of many medical conditions like cancer, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, trauma and musculoskeletal disorders. The new Revolution EVO CT machine is able to deliver high-resolution medical images while reducing patients’ exposure to radiation — in some cases by as much as two-thirds. Our new scanner integrates industry-leading software that automatically reduces the radiation dose to a patient’s specific needs and minimizes scanner noise, all while increasing image quality. Mid-Valley is now able to perform more studies in less time, and those time and cost savings get passed on to our patients.
