Mid-Valley Hospital Offers FREE Stop-The-Bleed Training to Community Organizations

Mid-Valley Hospital is ready to provide education for your organization on Stop the Bleed -bleeding control basics- FREE of charge.

Motivated by the 2012 tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary, leaders from law enforcement, federal government, and the medical community have come together (through the Hartford Consensus) to improve survivability from man-made and natural mass casualty events.

Mass casualty events often present with severe bleeding which, if left unattended, can quickly result in death. By providing first responders, and civilian bystanders, the skills, and basic tools to stop uncontrolled bleeding in an emergency situation, lives can be saved.

To schedule a free 2-hour bleeding control training session at your location, please contact: Aliya Quidwai, RN – 509-861-2464
