After-Hours Coverage
A doctor is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for medical emergencies only. Call the clinic at 509-826-1600, option 0 and the operator will page the physician on call. Often we can assist you with your problem over the phone or advise you to seek care in the emergency room. Please note: if you have routine questions or would like a prescription refilled, please call during regular business hours.
Phone Calls
The office staff works closely with the physician to handle your phone calls. Some questions can be answered directly by the staff. Other questions will require consultation with the physician. The physician will either return your call personally, or advise the staff member who will return your call. While we return calls as soon as possible, based on their urgency, our priority is with patients scheduled to be in the office. This means many non-urgent calls will be returned during lunch time or after 5 p.m. Be sure to leave the phone number(s) where you can be reached throughout the day. If your doctor is not available, then the doctor on call or his/her nurse will handle your call.
Prescriptions
It is our policy that you give us at least 48 hours notice for any prescription refill. Asking your pharmacist to fax us a prescription refill request is the most efficient way to process your refill request. If this is not possible, please provide us with the correct spelling and dosage of the medication and the phone number(s) where you can be reached if any clarification is necessary. Please check with the pharmacist to see whether the prescription has been filled rather than calling the office multiple times. And remember, it may take up to 48 hours to process your request.
Payment
We accept many types of insurance, including:
- MSC/Premera Blue Cross
- Health Plus
- Molina
- All WA State and Federal Government insurances
Payments of co-pays and other charges are expected at the time of service. We understand that financial hardships exist; if you require any special payment plan it should be arranged in advance.
