Per Diem Maintenance Worker
PR 3404 Position Summary: The Maintenance Worker position is responsible for assisting with the operation and maintenance of all mechanical equipment associated with the physical plant. This position is responsible for carrying out the preventative maintenance of these systems under supervision as directed; buildings, grounds, and utility systems. REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent. Hospital or related maintenance experience. Basic computer skills including email functions. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Must have legible handwriting. Work order systems, preventative maintenance programs, and record keeping. Knowledge and understanding of blue prints, electrical circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, painting, carpentry, boiler systems, refrigeration, and power generation systems. This position will project a professional, positive and friendly image of the facility with all contacts; patients, the general public and all staff members of Mid- Valley Hospital.
1.0 Central Supply Technician/Processing
PR 3403 Position Summary: The Central Service Technician/Processing position is responsible for maintaining high standards for decontamination, assembly, inspecting, wrapping, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment for Surgical Services and all other departments. This includes working in conjunction with the OR staff to provide timely sterile products and trays where applicable. The Central Service Technician/Processing maintains consistency and continuous workflow between the OR and Central Service while providing excellent customer service. The Central Service Technician/Processing is to insure that all sterile processing is done daily and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, all supplies that are ordered from vendors are received and distributed, that stock levels do not exceed nor fall below recommended or required inventory guidelines. Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience using general office equipment. Basic computer skills including email functions. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Must have legible handwriting. 1.0 Helpdesk/Network Support Analyst
PR 3401 REQUIRED: Skills to support the computing needs of the healthcare organization consisting of local area networks, servers, and workstations. Support multiple software applications including word processing, database, & spreadsheet management; desktop publishing & graphics design; custom developed applications & websites; and electronic medical record systems. Troubleshoot hardware including computer workstations, servers, and other managed electronics. Monitor and maintain helpdesk support applications and departmental organization. 2 years of college courses in IT related field or equivalent work experience. DESIRED: College Degree in IT related field. Applicants with industry recognized IT certifications and/or experience providing tech support in a professional environment preferred.

PR 3397 The position of Ward Clerk requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience and training in medical terminology with one year of Acute Care experience. Excellent customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. This position will project a professional, positive friendly image of the facility with all contacts; patients, the general public and all staff members of Mid Valley Hospital. DESIRED: Previous experience as a ward clerk in a medical facility. Spanish bilingual preferred.
Per Diem Patient Account Rep/Admitting
REQUIRED: Excellent customer service skills, able to work with a multi-line phone system with pleasant phone skills, computer knowledge, and cashier experience. Willingness & flexibility to work all shifts, including graveyard, weekends, & Holidays. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment. DESIRED: Hospital background, medical terminology and previous customer service experience.
1.0 Medical Lab Tech
PR 3379 Primary Job duties: Rotate in different bench areas of the laboratory as assigned - Rotations include coverage on evenings and weekends as required. Perform on call duties as assigned. Maintain quality control practices for all laboratory procedures. Perform venipunctures and capillary stick as required. Assist in the preparation of new procedures and reagent preparation. Assist with specimen computer entry and processing - is familiar with all computerized functions that are necessary to generate test results. Orient new staff members and assist in the training of MLT students. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree - Medical Technology ASCP certified. Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s Degree – Medical Laboratory Technician ASCP certified. Must be proficient in the following: Extractions on neonates, pediatric and geriatric patients and therapeutic phlebotomy; handling and trouble shooting quality control, calibration, mechanical and sample error issues with machines used in laboratory; evaluating test results through pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical methods; developing and modifying procedures on new available methods to be used in the laboratory and/or if new kits/reagents and new methods are needed in the laboratory; establishing and monitoring programs to ensure the accuracy of tests.

PR 3365 Required: Current Washington State Registered Nurse License, current CPR. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Desired: 1-3 years of Acute Care experience, ACLS Certification.

PR 3350 Perform various chemical, microscopic and bacteriological tests to obtain data for the use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Observe, monitor, record, interpret and report results on tests performed with accuracy. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology ASCP and AMT Certified

PR 3362 & 3371 REQUIRED: Current WA State Registered Nurse License. Current CPR. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. DESIRED: 1-3 years Acute Care experience. ACLS Certification.

PR3329 REQUIRED: Three to five years nursing experience in an Acute Care setting. Hold a current ACLS and within one year obtain their TNCC, PALS and Neonatal Resuscitation certification. Current State licensure. DESIRED: Past experience in a supervisory role and ability to delegate and coordinate staffing levels efficiently and effectively. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
