1.0 Radiology Department Manager 

PR 3427 40 hours per week. Position Summary: Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Vision and Values.

Coordinates all patient care and technical activities within the Radiology department. Provides adequate staffing by effectively utilizing staff resources to achieve maximum productivity and quality patient care. Ensures that all exams are performed on a timely basis while maintaining all quality standards. Coordinates the effective utilization of available equipment resources by appropriate scheduling and planning. Assists in ensuring all equipment operates properly, and is operated by staff in a manner that ensures all appropriate standards are being met. Regularly participates with customer satisfaction of patients, physicians, and all other identified customers. Communicates well, collaborates work with radiologists and ensures directives related to patient care are performed. Responsible for the development, review and maintenance of all policies, procedures and programs as they relate to radiology and radiation safety. Serves as the Radiation Safety Officer. Provides a safe environment by monitoring radioactive exposure of staff and patients; keeping staff and patients safe. Is responsible for the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Performance and Quality Improvement. Meets radiology financial standards by providing annual budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions. Serves and protects the hospital community with full compliance to professional standards, meeting federal, state, and local requirements. Participates in direct patient care when necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Required:  Graduate of accredited Imaging Program Preferred:  Bachelor’s degree

Required:  3-5 year technical experience and 1-2 years management experience.

Required:  American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT); Washington State License.  Certified in Computed Tomography

Required: Excellent leadership skills, problem solving and communication skills, flexible, detail-oriented team-player who works well under pressure.

1.0 Director of Marketing and Public Relations 

PR 3426 40 hours per week

Position Summary: Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all organizational marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. Responsible for identifying and maintaining relationships with key leaders and influential organizations to support brand position and awareness. Manages development and implementation of support materials and services for departments in the area of marketing, communications and public relations.  Reports directly to the CEO and works cohesively with Board External Committee.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, or public relations and minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, communications or public relations with demonstrated success, preferably in the not-for-profit or association sector. Or equivalent of experience in marketing or public relations as demonstrated through resume including education, related experience including military, volunteer, internships, and/or portfolio. Management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate degree in a related field or management is desirable (MBA, MPH, MHA, etc.)

1.0 Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist  PR 3377 

REQUIRED: The position of the Medical Staff/Credentialing Specialist requires the incumbent to be able to type 65 wpm and be experienced with word processing. Must be able to record minutes and assist Medical Staff with Mid-Valley Hospital Policy and Procedures. Must be able to maintain daily routines. Must have good oral and written communication skills. Must have knowledge of medical terms. Must maintain good working relationship with fellow workers, medical staff and other hospital departments and personnel using polite and courteous phone manners. The position will assist with coordinating medical staff activities and meetings including peer review, coordinate credentialing process and maintain physician files.

In addition, the Medical Staff/Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring providers are credentialed for billing with health plans through the hospital and hospital owned clinics.

Per Diem Housekeeping (floor care)/Security PR 3421

REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. The ability to work well independently and as part of a team. The willingness to learn floor care procedure in a medical facility.

DESIRED:  Flexible availability and ability to communicate effectively with physicians, co-workers, and other hospital staff. Previous experience as security guard or law enforcement of at least one year.

 .75 RN ER NOC PR 3412

REQUIRED: Current WA State Registered Nurse License. Current CPR. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.  DESIRED: 1-3 years Emergency Department experience. ACLS Certification.

1.0 Ultra Sound Technician 

PR 3408   REQUIRED: RDMS certification or board eligible. Completion of college based DMS ultrasound program. Ability to competently scan abdomen, OB/GYN, Small parts. Assist radiologist with biopsies. Some vascular (DVT, Carotids). Able to work independently. Good patient and phone skills. Able to effectively communicate finding to physicians.

DESIRED: 3-5 years of experience. Bachelors of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Board certified in OB, Abdomen, limited vascular. Able to do Echo. Familiar with GE Ultrasound unit.

.75 RN ER NOC float

DESIRED: 1-3 years Emergency Room Care experience. ACLS Certification.

1.0 Medical Lab Tech

PR 3425 Primary Job duties: Rotate in different bench areas of the laboratory as assigned - Rotations include coverage on evenings and weekends as required. Perform on call duties as assigned. Maintain quality control practices for all laboratory procedures. Perform venipunctures and capillary stick as required. Assist in the preparation of new procedures and reagent preparation. Assist with specimen computer entry and processing - is familiar with all computerized functions that are necessary to generate test results. Orient new staff members and assist in the training of MLT students.

Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree - Medical Technology ASCP certified.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s Degree – Medical Laboratory Technician ASCP certified. Must be proficient in the following: Extractions on neonates, pediatric and geriatric patients and therapeutic phlebotomy; handling and trouble shooting quality control, calibration, mechanical and sample error issues with machines used in laboratory; evaluating test results through pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical methods; developing and modifying procedures on new available methods to be used in the laboratory and/or if new kits/reagents and new methods are needed in the laboratory; establishing and monitoring programs to ensure the accuracy of tests.

 

Per Diem – Registered Nurse Acute Care

PR 3365  Required: Current Washington State Registered Nurse License, current CPR. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Desired: 1-3 years of Acute Care experience, ACLS Certification.

1.0 Medical Technologist

PR 3350  Perform various chemical, microscopic and bacteriological tests to obtain data for the use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Observe, monitor, record, interpret and report results on tests performed with accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology ASCP and AMT Certified

   .9 Registered Nurse Acute Care NOC  (2 Positions)

PR 3371 & 3424 

REQUIRED: Current WA State Registered Nurse License. Current CPR. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. This Position will project a positive and friendly image of the facility with all contacts; patients, the general public and all staff members of Mid-Valley Hospital and Clinic.  

DESIRED: 1-3 years Acute Care experience. ACLS Certification.

 .6 RN Acute Care RN NOC Nursing Supervisor

PR3329 REQUIRED: Three to five years nursing experience in an Acute Care setting. Hold a current ACLS and within one year obtain their TNCC, PALS and Neonatal Resuscitation certification. Current State licensure. DESIRED: Past experience in a supervisory role and ability to delegate and coordinate staffing levels efficiently and effectively. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

.9 OB Registered Nurse NOC (3) Positions

PR 3389, PR3344, PR3378
REQUIRED: Current Washington State Registered Nurse License, BLS, ACLS. One to two years of current OB experience. Two years Acute Care experience. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

 .75 RN Acute Care NOC Nursing Supervisor

PR 3363  REQUIRED: Three to Five years nursing experience in an Acute Care setting. Hold a current ACLS and within one year of employment obtain TNCC, PALS and Neonatal Resuscitation Certification. Current Washington State Registered Nurse License. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

DESIRED: Experience in a supervisory role with the ability to delegate and coordinate staffing levels efficiently and effectively.
