Medical Transcriptionist Per Diem PR 3441 

REQUIRED: The position of the Medical Transcriptionist requires the incumbent to be able to type 65 wpm and be experienced with word processing. Must be able to maintain daily routines. Must have good oral and written communication skills.   Must have knowledge of medical terms.

This position will project a positive and friendly image of the facility with all contacts; patients, the general public and all staff members of Mid-Valley Hospital & Clinic. 

DESIRED: Hospital work experience and work experience in a business setting.

Dietary Aide  PR 3437 Per Diem

REQUIRED: The ability to assemble necessary supplies and equipment at beginning of each shift. Responsible for checking both patient and cafeteria menus and taking appropriate action in a timely manner to insure meal preparation according to set schedules and protocols. The ability to check Kitchen Weekly Calendar for any special functions. The ability to wash, peel and cut fruits and vegetables. The ability to carry pans, kettles and containers of food to and from work areas. The ability to be flexible with changes, work independently and work well in a team setting. Physically Able to lift 25 pounds regularly. Current food handler’s card. 

DESIRED: One year or more previous experience in institutional kitchen.

Radiologic Technologist

1.0  PR 3439

Varied Shifts (Days, nights and weekends)

REQUIRED: Willing to take call rotation as needed, work some weekends and holidays. Experience Meditech and PACS/Novarad systems. May be requested to alternate shifts on short notice. Able to operate C-arm in surgery. The willingness to project a professional, positive and friendly image of Mid-Valley Hospital & Clinic with all contacts; patients, vendors, the general public and all staff members.

DESIRED: Experience working in trauma atmosphere. CT skills desirable. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

 

 .3 RN Radiology

REQUIRED: Current WA State Registered Nurse License. Current CPR. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. This Position will project a positive and friendly image of the facility with all contacts; patients, the general public and all staff members of Mid-Valley Hospital and Clinic.  

DESIRED: 1-3 years Acute Care experience. ACLS Certification. 

1.0 Helpdesk/Network Support Analyst

PR 3428 Variable day/evening shift

REQUIRED: Skills to support the computing needs of the healthcare organization consisting of local area networks, servers, and workstations. Support multiple software applications including word processing, database, & spreadsheet management; desktop publishing & graphics design; custom developed applications & websites; and electronic medical record systems. Troubleshoot hardware including computer workstations, servers, and other managed electronics. Monitor and maintain helpdesk support applications and departmental organization. 2 years of college courses in IT related field or equivalent work experience.

DESIRED: College Degree in IT related field. Applicants with industry recognized IT certifications and/or experience providing tech support in a professional environment preferred.

 .75 RN ER NOC PR 3412

REQUIRED: Current WA State Registered Nurse License. Current CPR. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. 1.0 Medical Lab Tech

PR 3425 Primary Job duties: Rotate in different bench areas of the laboratory as assigned - Rotations include coverage on evenings and weekends as required. Perform on call duties as assigned. Maintain quality control practices for all laboratory procedures. Perform venipunctures and capillary stick as required. Assist in the preparation of new procedures and reagent preparation. Assist with specimen computer entry and processing - is familiar with all computerized functions that are necessary to generate test results. Orient new staff members and assist in the training of MLT students.

Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree - Medical Technology ASCP certified.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s Degree – Medical Laboratory Technician ASCP certified. Must be proficient in the following: Extractions on neonates, pediatric and geriatric patients and therapeutic phlebotomy; handling and trouble shooting quality control, calibration, mechanical and sample error issues with machines used in laboratory; evaluating test results through pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical methods; developing and modifying procedures on new available methods to be used in the laboratory and/or if new kits/reagents and new methods are needed in the laboratory; establishing and monitoring programs to ensure the accuracy of tests.

 1.0 Medical Technologist

PR 3350  Perform various chemical, microscopic and bacteriological tests to obtain data for the use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Observe, monitor, record, interpret and report results on tests performed with accuracy.

REQUIRED: Current Washington State Registered Nurse License, BLS, ACLS. One to two years of current OB experience. Two years Acute Care experience. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

DESIRED: NRP and EFM

 .75 RN Acute Care NOC Nursing Supervisor

PR 3363  REQUIRED: Three to Five years nursing experience in an Acute Care setting. Hold a current ACLS and within one year of employment obtain TNCC, PALS and Neonatal Resuscitation Certification. Current Washington State Registered Nurse License. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

DESIRED: Experience in a supervisory role with the ability to delegate and coordinate staffing levels efficiently and effectively.
