PR 3312  Brand new facility and equipment.  Excellent schedule - Great opportunity.  Assists in the supervision of and participates in a variety of radiology procedures, the calculation of results, and the maintenance, review, and application of associated computer programs.  Assists with and use computer programs that involve Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Participates in learning and training of new modalities beyond initial hire, which may include CT, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound. Maintain the MRI/Diagnostic Imaging Department according to Local, State, and Federal Laws pertaining to the use of radiation and magnetism. Develops, recommends, and implements new procedures, protocols, guidelines, and techniques to improve patient care and customer satisfaction. Acquires adequate knowledge of the patients’ medical history to understand and relate to their illnesses, being responsive to those concerns, and the fears associated with the use of radiation and magnetic resonance imaging. Recognizes emergency patient conditions and initiates life saving measures when appropriate. Deals with public, staff, and physicians in a courteous, professional manner at all times. Consult with the radiologist, physicians, and staff concerning radiology and MRI procedures, techniques, and protocols. Applies knowledge of radiation physics and safety regulations to limit radiation exposures. Applies knowledge of magnetic resonance physics and safety regulations to limit magnetic resonance exposures. Acquires pertinent information from patient charts, hospital records, billing information, and appointment history using hospital based computer programs. Provides service for patients of all ages following age-specific requirements. Works independent of others and in a timely manner. Follow all HIPAA regulations. Assists in providing instructions to students, and assists in training new personnel. Assists the Director in development and maintenance of the MRI/Radiology Quality Assurance Program, and takes responsibility for its implementation. Maintains inventory of supplies and reorders as needed. Recognizes maintenance of equipment, confirms equipment malfunctions, and makes arrangements of restoring equipment to proper service. Participates in departmental inspections conducted by various licensing, regulatory, and accrediting agencies. Attend regional or national meetings as permitted to update and refine skills. Functions as a team member and assists the other departments within Diagnostic Imaging when necessary, or when patient load permits. Assists in general office skills using copier, fax, telephone, and computer.

RADIOLOGY  TECH .8 FTE

PR 3274 Varied Shifts (Days, nights and weekends)
REQUIRED:  Willing to take call rotation as needed, work some weekends and holidays.  Experience Meditech and PACS/Novarad systems. May be requested to alternate shifts on short notice. DESIRED: Experience working in trauma atmosphere. CT skills desirable. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Able to operate C-arm in surgery.

PR 3289  Mid-Valley Hospital is searching for a Physician to join the ER team. Mid-Valley Hospital is a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital with a Trauma level IV designation.  The ideal candidate will be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Board Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine and have a certification in ATLS.  The ER sees about 8400 visits per year and provides care to the Okanogan Valley.  The population of Omak, WA is about 4500 and the nearby town of Okanogan has about 2500.  Okanogan County is a rural area and the hospital serves a area of about 15,000 people.
