Yusuf Quidwai is a former educator and administrator who retired from the Omak School District in 2014 after more than 30 years of service in education. His educational background includes degrees from several different universities. He has been a part of the Omak/Okanogan community since 1975 when his career in education began at Pascal Sherman Indian School as an instructor. His passion for education and youth development has always extended beyond the classroom. He coached many varsity high school and middle school sports in addition to running the school district’s Driver’s Education Program. Yusuf continues to share his knowledge as a Traffic Safety Education instructor and owner of Q Driving School in Okanogan. He has been happily married to his wife Kathy for 33 years and enjoys cheering on the Gonzaga men’s basketball team and spending time with his granddaughter. He is active in Okanogan-Omak Rotary, Okanogan Chamber of Commerce and the Washington State Traffic Safety Education Association.
